Sri Lanka Car Sales Scams

This is not a subject that I wanted to talk about but feel I have no choice due to its simple process of cheating, not only the buyers but also us exporters.

Just recently while I was doing some creative work on the auction website I happened to stumble across a webpage coming out from Sri Lanka advertising cars for sale in Japan. That on its own is ok and why not try selling cars from Japan its a good idea. They even had an auction page which was interesting since they were based in Sri Lanka. Upon inspection, I noted immediately that the auction page was my own auction page. They had managed to remove any link or contact details relating to me and had managed to embed my own paid auction page inside their website.

In a nutshell, they were leaching my data for free and display it as their own. I found 2 websites on the same day from these people with the name http://www.directautoimport.lk/ and http://www.jjcarsale.com/

If these people are scamming my data they will scam you also. Do not use their service as they are not proving any credibility what so ever. I am not going to provide physical links to them as they don’t deserve the link.
